Nollywood actor, Tayo Faniran speaks after undergoing the first procedure in his quest to acquire dental veneers.
The former Big Brother Africa housemate took to his Instagram page to notify his fans about the actual reason for his trip to Turkey (the aforementioned).
He noted that currently what he has in his mouth are artificial teeth because the doctors had to make his teeth smaller in a bid to accommodate the veneers.
For clarity, Dental veneers are thin shells of porcelain or composite resin that are custom-made to fit over the teeth, providing a natural, attractive look. They can be used to fix chipped, stained, misaligned, worn down, uneven or abnormally spaced teeth.
Veneers are cosmetic and are not covered by most insurance companies.
The veneer process takes two appointments to complete. At the first visit, the doctor will prepare the tooth to make room for a veneer to be placed. After preparing the tooth, an impression is taken and sent off to the lab for fabrication of your custom veneer. The second appointment will be to permanently cement the veneer.
Tayo Faniran also explained the reason for his swollen face which he said was because he did hair extension and beards transplant.
Captioning the video, he wrote:
“Important message, please watch and listen, I will be deleting this in 24 hours, thank you as you do so.”
