She refused to sleep with me – Brymo explains why he rejected Simi, Adekunle Gold’s collaboration requests
  • The internet is abuzz with astonishment over Brymo’s shocking revelation about celebrity couple, Simi and Adekunle Gold.
  • The Singer made a confession about rejecting a song collaboration request from Simi after she declined his advances for a romantic involvement.
  • He also recalled asking Ghanaian singer Efya to sleep with him before agreeing to collaborate with her.

Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Olawale Ibrahim Ashimi widely known as Brymo, has confessed declining a request to collaborate with Colleague, Simi, on a song after she refused his proposition to engage in intimate relations with him.

Explaing why he requested for sex, Brymo, in a voice recording making the rounds, said he wanted to understand the feelings and sensations associated with collaborating with a lady he shared a romantic connection with.

In his disclosure, Brymo revealed that the Simi turned down his sex advances. However, even after years have passed, he still carries a sense of remorse for the condition he presented to her at that time.

In his words:

“There’s a part of me that wants to seek remorse for my condition for a requirement with talented Simi. I just wanted to have that experience of making music with a female act I was bedding. Of course I had to let go of the desperation. I wanted a collaboration that involved sex with my female collaborator.”

The music star also mentioned that he declined Adekunle Gold’s requests for a feature in a song, attributing it to unforeseen circumstances.

However, he clarified that he was unaware of Simi and AG Baby’s relationship when he made advances towards her.

Brymo in response to a tweet said;

“Though AG reached out later, I like to think that he didn’t check in again, by will or fate because I turned down same request many years before…I also did same with Simi… said | wanted to get intimate to create intensity.. I didn’t know they were together of COurse”

Brymo revealed that he turned down collaboration requests from not only Simi but also Ghanaian singer Efya and some female colleagues, citing his sexual desires as the reason for his decisions.
