Fuji musician Abass Akande Obesere celebrates after escaping death by a whisker


Renowned Nigerian Fuji musician, Abass Akande Obesere, also known as Oba Alashakasha, has become the subject of online discussions as reports about his survival from a serious car accident have gone viral.

In a reassuring post, the singer promptly alleviated any concerns as he stated that he is alive and in good health.

He also mentioned that he was able to walk away from the dreadful car accident unscathed, without any internal or external injuries.

Though at the time of publishing this article, we could not ascertain the exact location and time the accident happened.

He wrote;

“I came out alive. Allihamdulilah! I sincerely thank the Almighty for still keeping me and people around very safe. Mo dupe pe ari anu agba.”

In other news, Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi, the celebrated Juju music icon who now serves as an evangelist, offered his heartfelt prayers for the well-known Fuji singer, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, also known as KWAM1, following the official confirmation of his new title by the Awujale of Ijebu.

In the recently released video, the veteran musician, Ebenezer Obey, is seen fervently praying for KWAM1, who humbly kneels while receiving the blessings.

Extending his warm congratulations, Obey remarked that the newly bestowed chieftaincy title is a perfect match for KWAM1’s persona, and achievements.

KWAM 1 was recently named the new “Olori Omo Oba” of Ijebuland. He took over the title from the founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB), Otunba Subomi Balogun, who passed away in May 2023.
