“Ego told me to shut up after I pleaded with her to delete the defamatory video” – Eniola Badmus reveals

Eniola Badmus reveals the blatant and disrespectful response she got after reaching out to Ego to delete the defamatory video she posted about her.

Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus recently shed light on her ongoing defamatory case involving Tiktoker, Ego, during a live interview with Daddy Freeze.

Eniola shared that she initially tried to resolve the matter privately by reaching out to Ego through Direct Message (DM), pleading with her to take down the video that was tarnishing her reputation.

However, to her dismay, Ego responded rudely, telling her to “shut up,” which led to the decision to involve her lawyer and pursue legal action.

Eniola Badmus emphasized her determination to ensure that Ego faces the consequences of defaming her. The actress noted that despite the fact that she avoids engaging social media critics, she would follow this particular case up till the end.

In her words:

“Daddy Freeze, the thing is, I know myself not to be the type that puts many things on social media but for this girl’s case, I will make sure she goes down. On social media, I barely reply people no matter what they say about me. I won’t reply you (on social media) if you are not Aliko Dangote, Femi Otedola, Jagaban (Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu), or his son; Seyi Tinubu. I can’t just reply you.”

Eniola Badmus affirmed that Ego is working for people who seek to bring her down.

Speaking further, Eniola maintained her stance to drag Ego to court and make her face the consequence of her actions.

Eniola Badmus noted that she maintains a calm demeanour and doesn’t easily get angry over social media criticism.

According to her, she focuses on her career and numerous businesses, which leaves her with less time to respond to negative remarks online. However, she firmly believes that when someone crosses the line and spreads false and damaging allegations, legal action is necessary to protect her reputation.
