Afrobeats star, Davido, has fulfilled his pledge of $10,000 to a hotel staff member who returned the money that was misplaced by a customer.
Ngozi, a staff of Eko Hotels and Suites in Lagos, had returned the sum of $70,000 that was misplaced by one of the customers of the hotel.
The singer,reacting to the selfless act, offered to give Ngozi $10,000.
Davido took to his Twitter page to request the lady’s information in order to reward her.
In a now-viral video shared on Twitter, Ngozi confirmed that she received the cash reward from Davido.
The excited lady extended her appreciation to the singer and also prayed for him.
“Thank you very much Davido. God bless you, I got the money. It is rare, so rare,” she said
“Your career, pluto will hear of you. They will play your music beyond. God is the one that has blessed you and he will keep blessing you, keep lifting you.
“Like I said before, anyone that rises against you will surely be destroyed. David you are going to be so great.”

Davido launched a Twitter fundraiser and donated the N250 million realised to orphanages in November 2021.
Recently, Davido again donated the sum of N237 million to various orphanage homes across Nigeria.
The singer also reaffirmed his commitment to “continually assist the less privileged in any capacity”.
