BBNaija All-stars: Biggie reportedly scraps eviction jury and ‘pardon me please’

At last, it seems like things are returning to their usual state, following an episode where fans vociferously criticized BBNaija organizers for their votes seemingly carrying little weight

After four weeks of suspense and intrigue, ‘Big Brother’ has finally scrapped the eviction jury, the very group that wields the power to decide the fate of housemates on the show.

The group of past Big Brother Naija contestants, known as the eviction jury, in recent weeks, decided which current housemate should stay in the house, by choosing to save one person from a pair of housemates with the fewest votes

Their choices sparked a chorus of condemnation among BBNaija fans, some of whom alleged bias.

Moving forward, reports alleged that there will no longer be a jury weighing in on Sunday nights, just evictions based on votes from fans of the ongoing BBNaija All Stars.

Biggie has reportedly made another change by replacing the “pardon me please” approach. Now, Housemates nominate who they want to evict, directly from the diary room.

This good news comes after the outrage that followed Princess and Uriel Oputa’s eviction from the popular show.

Saskay, Elozonam, and Vee were the jury who sent Kiddwaya packing from the All-Stars house last Sunday.

On August 13, Uriel was evicted from the reality show by Laycon, Teddy A, and Diana, while Bisola, Mike Edwards, and Dorathy, decided the fate of Princess a week earlier

The BBNaija All-Stars reality TV show began on July 23 with 20 former housemates.

The show is expected to end on October 1. The winner of this season will take home a cash prize of N120 million, the highest since the inception of the show.
