Amidst a rising tide of powerful emotions, The hallowed mortal remains of the venerated Nollywood thespian, none other than the indomitably charismatic Don Brymo Uchegbu, was placed to rest forever in his hometown, Enugwu Ukwu, in Anambra State.

Earlier, WITHIN NIGERIA reported that the late actor died in his sleep on a day tinged with a hint of sadness, specifically on June 15, 2023.

The casket stood open, revealing Don Brymo’s lifeless body, prompting somber gazes from family members. With utmost care, his mortal remains were gently laid to rest, marking the final chapter of his journey, amid tears.

His wake keep was done on Sunday, August 20, by his family in his state.

Speculation circulated that Brymo had passed away following a collapse on set on June 15, and was swiftly transported to a hospital in Anambra state.

However, in response, AGN President Emeka Rollas released a statement refuting the claim. He declared:

The Actors Guild of Nigeria was thrown into another state of grief following the sudden demise of Don Brymo, who was reported to have slumped on a film set in Rivers State and later passed on.

‘This tragic death came as a rude shock and has thrown the entire guild into another grieving moment as we mourn his death.

“I have taken reports from all the actors on the set with him and found out that he didn’t collapse on set as widely speculated.”
