American record label Def Jam signs Rapper Odumodublvck – VIDEO

The 'Ekelebe stunner' is undeniably stunning music enthusiasts with his impressive business moves, and his recent music partnership with a major American music powerhouse will certainly make him feel as extraordinary as 'Declan Rice' once more, but even more so this time.


The celebrated Nigerian Grime and street-hop lyricist, known as Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu but better recognized as Odumodublvck, has catapulted his music career to unprecedented heights by securing a momentous deal with the renowned American record label, Def Jam Recordings.

In a widely circulated video, Odumodublvck, seated alongside his new associates, passionately conveyed how hip-hop icons like DMX, 2pac, and notably 50 Cent had a profound impact on his affinity for the genre.

He explained that he incorporated elements of 50 Cent’s distinctive sound into his own music style and detailed how his adherence to 50 Cent’s G-Unit model, birthed his close-knit crew whom he deeply values. His humorous anecdote elicited hearty laughter from those present.

A member of Def Jam Records’ board of directors expressed their enthusiasm for having a remarkable rapper like Odumodublvck as part of their team, underscoring their diligent observation of his growth and unwavering consistency over the past 10 months since he catapulted to stardom.

Def Jam Recordings, which is owned by Universal Music Group, had boasted in its rank superstars alumni like Jay Z, Rihanna, and Kanye West.

The artiste made headlines earlier in the year after his song Declan Rice was used by the Arsenal football team to reveal that they had signed highly-rated English midfielder Declan Rice to their club.

The Rapper bagged the Best Rap Single at the 2023 Headies Awards with his song, ‘Declan Rice’.
