Shubomi, however, has now weighed in on the matter.

In a series of tweets, Shubomi made it clear that she believed Mohbad’s death was a tragedy, but she firmly rebuked the Nigerians who have been quick to point fingers at her brother and his associates.

She stressed that Mohbad’s struggles went far beyond his professional differences with Naira Marley and the Marlian record label.

Shubomi’s tweets included a heartfelt recollection of a dark moment in Mohbad’s life when he had contemplated suicide, only to be saved by his girlfriend.

In Shubomi’s words;

“Mohbad was having a lot going on with him, even aside the issues he had with Marley& Marlian record Label, I remember when he almost committed suicide thanks to his gf who intervened but calling or pointing hands to Marley is uncalled for, you all should know where to draw the line”.
