Nigeria Police Force refutes arrest of Naira Marley and Sam Larry in Mohbad's death case

The Nigeria Police Force has debunked the viral reports alleging the arrest of the renowned singer, Naira Marley, and socialite, Sam Larry, in connection with the tragic passing of the 27-year-old singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad.

The shocking revelation comes amidst a wave of fervent support from fans of Naira Marley and Sam Larry, who have been demanding justice for the late Mohbad amid suspicions of a possible homicide case.

In a statement released by Oluniyi Ogundeyi, the spokesperson for the Lagos Annex of the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Zone 2, Alagbon, the police categorically refuted the claims of the arrest of Naira Marley and Sam Larry.

“The report is false; it is a lie; no one has been arrested. The police did not arrest Naira Marley or Sam Larry,” Oluniyi told Punch on Thursday night.

In similar news, An eyewitness named Ayodeji has accused Naira Marleyand his close friend, Sam Larry Eletu, of relentlessly harassing and physically attacking Mohbad, allegedly contributing to his tragic death.

The untimely death of the young and talented artist, Mohbad, has sent shockwaves throughout the Nigerian music industry and among fans worldwide.

As news of his passing spread, numerous individuals have directed their ire towards Naira Marley, alleging his involvement in the events that led to Mohbad’s untimely demise.

Just hours after Mohbad’s burial, Ayodeji, an eyewitness present on the fateful day of the alleged attack, took to Twitter to share a video that sheds light on the disturbing incident.

In the video footage, Mohbad and fellow artist Zlatan are seen on a music video shoot when the unexpected incident occurred.

Sam Larry, a close friend of Naira Marley, is depicted attacking Mohbad from behind with a long object.
