Popular Nigerian comedian, Akpororo, has strongly criticized individuals who have recently shared videos depicting the late singer Mohbad being harassed by thugs while he was alive.
These videos and pieces of evidence have come to light following the untimely demise of the talented Afrobeats musician, shedding new light on the challenges he faced during his life.
One such video captures the disturbing moment when Mohbad was attacked by Sam Larry while on set, further emphasizing the difficulties he encountered in the entertainment industry.
Akpororo expressed his disappointment in those who are now sharing these pieces of evidence after Mohbad’s passing, rather than taking action when he was still alive.
According to him, the evidences should have been brought to the attention of the Nigerian Police during Mohbad’s lifetime to ensure that proper actions were taken to protect him and bring those responsible for the harassment to justice.
In addition to his criticism of the late release of these videos, Akpororo also touched upon the sudden surge in the sales of Mohbad’s music since his passing.
He pointed out the irony that during Mohbad’s life, there appeared to be little attention and support for his music, but now, his work is selling exponentially after his demise.
The comedian did not mince his words when he berated those who are now giving undue attention to Mohbad’s music and the videos of his harassment.
He labeled them as “useless” for not taking action to support the singer when he was alive and in need.
