Nollywood actress Angela Okorie’s response to the singer’s untimely death, in which she shared a video of Mohbad crying in pain while lying in a hospital bed, alleging that he was coerced into drinking a water laced with a white substance and had a gun pressed against his head while in NDLEA custody, stirred strong emotions on the internet

In her caption for the video, Okorie expressed her bewilderment at what Mohbad could have possibly done to warrant such cruelty.

She wrote;

In response, Tonto Dikeh, well aware of Naira Marley’s close friendship with Angela Okorie and deeply moved by Mohbad’s tragic demise, made her presence felt in Angela’s comment section by requesting the rapper’s phone number.

Mohbad, 27, passed away on Tuesday and was laid to rest on Wednesday.

The police in Lagos have since commenced a probe of the case to determine the nature of his death.

The cause of Mohbad’s death is still unknown, although allegations have made the rounds.

Joseph Aloba, his father, revealed that Mohbad died after an auxiliary nurse was invited to inject him.

Omowunmi, the partner of Mohbad, also recounted the singer’s struggles when he was alive.

Naira Marley vowed in his official statement that he and his label are willing to provide any assistance needed to uncover foul play and injustice in the tragic passing of his former signee.
