In a related story, Mohbad’s dad has spoken out about the singer’s death, revealing that, “There was an injury on his hand” when he was brought in
Joseph Ayoba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad, has shared the emotional account of how he rushed to the hospital upon receiving a distressing phone call about his son’s condition on the day he passed away.
In a recent interview, Mr. Ayoba explained that he received a call from his associates, urging him to meet them at the hospital.
While en route, he received another call instructing him to return home. Suspicion gripped him, and he insisted on seeing his son.
According to him, after reaching his son’s residence, he discovered Mohbad’s lifeless body with an injury on his hand, contradicting the widely circulated claim of an injury to his neck.
The explanation given was that the hand injury resulted from a playful fight with a friend, causing swelling.
Mohbad’s father also learned that his son had vomited after receiving an injection administered by an auxiliary nurse.
Mr. Ayoba concluded that he harbored suspicions about the nurse’s qualifications and believed her involvement may have inadvertently contributed to his son’s tragic demise.
