Asking Mohbad’s wife to submit son for DNA test pure evil — Mary Njoku

Actress Mary Njoku condemns the idea of Mohbad's wife getting a DNA test

Nollywood actress Mary Njoku, has condemned the recent request made by some social media users for Mohbad’s wife to submit their son for a DNA test.

The actress described the act as pure evil and urged people to desist from such behaviour.

Recall that Nigerians, including his supporters and colleague, have persisted in their quest for justice following the circumstances surrounding the death of Mohbad, a former signee of Marlian Record, on September 12th, 2023.

Some online community members have also started to call on the late singer’s wife, Omowunmi, to submit their 5-month-old kid, Liam, for a DNA test in order to dispel any doubts about her devotion to her late partner.

Mary Njoku responded to the DNA demand controversy in an Instagram post on Friday, saying that if the late musician never questioned his son’s paternity, there was no reason to consider a DNA test.

Asking a mourning widow to submit her son for a DNA test is pure evil. She just lost a father to her child, a husband, her Helper and her Protector of over 10yrs. Let her mourn in peace.

“If her husband didn’t doubt the paternity of his child, who are we to think otherwise? Please let’s focus on getting #justiceformohbad.” She wrote.
