Tonto Dikeh roasts Pastor Tunde Bakare over comment on late Mohbad’s lifestyle

In response to the heart-wrenching loss of Mohbad, fans and celebrities expressed their deep sympathy and compassion through both their words and actions. However, Pastor Bakare took a divergent stance, chose to assign blame to the late singer for his untimely demise, an assertion that ignited a strong and passionate reaction from Tonto Dikeh.

Actress turned politician Tonto Dikeh has turned to social media to respond to the verdict by Pastor Tunde Bakare, the General Overseer of The Citadel Global Community Church (formerly Latter Rain Assembly), regarding the late singer Mohbad’s demise.

Pastor Bakare, in recent sermon had stated that the singer’s stage name ‘Mohbad’, which means “I am bad”, greatly affected him, and his clique of friends contributed mainly to his early demise

The former presidential aspirant said the late rapper reaped the reward of his actions while alive.

In response,  Tonto Dikeh labeled Bakare as a hypocrite who remains silent when the wrongdoing of his fellow clerics is exposed to the public eye.

The movie star asked the pastor to keep Mohbad’s name out of his mouth and keep the energy with which he used to say the late singer reaped the reward of his actions.

Tonto added that the anointing of God is why she is why she was subtle with the call out else she would have gone off on him.

Dear Tunde:

“When your colleagues are caught with their pants down in unholy sexual activities, we never hear your voice, you never speak nor preach about them.

“It comes to the death of a boy who is old enough to be your last born, and you say ‘HE REAPED THE REWARD OF HIS ACTIONS.’ What Actions?

“Please, please, please KEEP THE SAME ENERGY with your corrupted colleagues as you just did today. It’s the anointing of God upon your head that’s making me not go off on this LOOSE COMMENT OF YOURS.

“I have learned over the years that if you have nothing nice to say, keep mute (DON’T TALK AT ALL). Preach your gospel and leave MohBad’s name out of your ministration.

“I don’t respect old age; I respect the wisdom you exhibit at old age”.
