Mohbad: Doubts linger in the minds of Iyabo Ojo, Chike, others after Sam Larry landed in police custody

After nationwide demands for his arrest sent shockwaves, Sam Larry has, at last, returned from his overseas hideout. The police spokesperson revealed that he's under their watchful eye, but slyly stated he's back to "lend a hand" in their investigation. This has Iyabo Ojo, Chike, and others smelling a rat in their quest for justice.

Several celebrities deeply entrenched in the investigation surrounding the late singer Mohbad have openly cast doubt upon the Nigerian police’s approach and the ‘invitation’ of Nigerian socialite Sam Larry, also known as Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, who is currently in their custody.

Recall that Sam Larry sought refuge outside Nigeria after he was blamed for the death of the 27-year-old singer. This came after a video went viral showing him assaulting the late Mohbad

After many weeks abroad, Sam Larry has now returned to the country. Police PRO Ben Hundeyin took to his Twitter page to update Nigerians.

According to the policeman, Sam Larry is now in their custody and ‘assisting’ them in investigating Mohbad’s death.

Sam Larry’s return to Nigeria was also captured on video. He was seen being escorted by policemen upon his arrival.

Larry’s arrival in Nigeria sparked intriguing reactions from Nigerian celebrities and fans. Some sought clarification on if he was arrested by the police or not.

Actress Iyabo Ojo, who’s actively involved in Mohbad’s case, expressed her anticipation of hearing the police’s “super story,” suggesting she’s skeptical about receiving a satisfactory response to their call for justice.

K-solo, Chike, and others voiced their disatisfaction with the police spokesperson’s choice of words when he mentioned that “Sam Larry returned to the country to assist with the investigation.”

Iyabo Ojo’s words;

“we await a super story tomorrow #JusticeForMohbad #Justicefordjsplash #justiceforourchildren”

Music producer K-solo wrote;

“In your custody would have just been enough @benjaminhundeyin That Assist is not sitting well with me at this Moment plsssss”

Singer, Chike asserts;

Now Im thinking that Maybe it should have been a protest cOZ awotarom this nonsense !”
