Phyna reacts to reports of her abandoning her parents after clinching N100M BBNaija grand prize

Phyna and her devoted fanbase were hit like a ton of bricks this morning when they discovered shocking news and extracts from her father's interview with a correspondent from a highly regarded media outlet. In the interview, he purportedly threw her under the bus, claiming she had left her family in the dust after her BBNaija success. Incensed and determined, she came out swinging to confront the interviewer and set the record straight.

Phyna, the triumphant winner of the 2022 BBNaija ‘Level Up,’ has unleashed her fury on a Vanguard News correspondent for a report alleging she abandoned her family.

Vanguard News previously released a report featuring statements from Phyna’s father, where he asserted he hadn’t seen his eldest daughter since her victorious moment in the BBNaija ‘Level Up,’ where she secured the ₦100 million grand prize.

Following the publication of this report, Phyna vented her anger on Ben Njoku, a reporter for Vanguard, who had reached out to her.

In her defense, the reality star expressed her exasperation at incessant calls and messages from the aforementioned reporter while hinting at her possible course of action.

Her statement: “I think it’s time for me to sue this useless Vanguard. They’ve been tormenting me with texts and calls.”

“I mistakenly picked one of the numbers 4 days back. Immediately I said hello, the useless man just said he is Ben Njoku from Vanguard, and the next thing this man started doing was asking me questions.”

“I just told him, ‘How can you come to me and start questioning me?’ Immediately, I then ended the call. He texted me immediately, saying that he is so sorry.”

“Now, you went back to your cupboard to say your father is crying, and your mother gave him a bastard son? Vanguard will crumble.”

“This is the number of the bastard that has been disturbing me from Vanguard. This particular cooking will choke you. You will hear from my lawyer.”
