In the past few months, Maria Chike has radiated with the unmistakable glow and joy of motherhood-to-be. She proudly showcased her baby bump online. Now, her joy has reached new heights, as her 9-month odyssey through pregnancy has culminated in the arrival of a cherished newborn— she lovingly refers to as the long-awaited light that had eluded her for years.

The charismatic TV personality and Big Brother Naija alum, Maria Chike Benjamin, has joyously embraced motherhood, heralding the arrival of her firstborn with her life companion, Kelvin.

Maria, whose star soared high following her spirited stint in the 2021 Big Brother Naija edition, took to her Instagram page just moments ago to share this exhilarating news.

She unveiled that her precious little one made a grand entrance on Independence Day, October 1, and proudly introduced her baby as Leonardo AmaraNna Anene.

The 31-year-old BBNaija sensation, who first disclosed her impending motherhood with a stunning video back in June 2023, also shared a touching video of her and her partner tenderly cradling their newborn’s tiny leg, signifying the beginning of a beautiful journey.

She captioned the video,

“Leonardo AmaraNna Anene 01/10/2023

I Just want to say Thank you God. My heart is so full and grateful. I’ve found the light in me that I couldn’t find all these years. Thank you for choosing us as your parents 🙏🏼❤️”

Not too long ago, Maria fearlessly put her growing baby bump on full display via social media.

The reality TV sensation posted a video where she confidently paraded her catwalk prowess in a stylish lobby.

With great enthusiasm, Maria elegantly glided down the lobby, donned in roomy denim attire, complete with oversized jackets and a crop top that accentuated her growing bump.

This video surfaced shortly after she graced us with some striking maternity photos, featuring her partner, Kelvin Anene who stood by her side, his face cleverly concealed from the camera’s gaze.
