“Hurt but grateful” Filmmaker Biodun Stephen recounts painful experience

Filmmaker Biodun Stephen has recently shared the heartbreaking story of how her mother was brutally murdered, leaving her hurt but grateful for the lessons the experience it taught her.

According to the film maker , her mother was murdered by a drunk driver.

Biodun Stephen stated that she had just driven by the scene of her mother’s death and saw several changes. The structure that the car had rammed into was still there, but it with a different color.

Taking to her social media page, the Nollywood director opened up on the trauma that followed the incident, as well as the strength and resilience she learned from the incident.

She recalled her mother’s tragic passing and how a drunk driver killed her mother in a collision 23 years ago and still got away with it.

Today, I drove past where my dear mother was killed. Much has changed but the car rammed her into still stood, only different in colour. Hurt but grateful for the journey this far. 23 years ago, my mother was killed by a drunk driver, and he got away with murder” She wrote.

The post has garnered alot of pitiful comments with many recounting their own experience.
