In a significant twist in the investigation into the tragic passing of Ilorioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, Owodunni Ibrahim, aka Primeboy, has voluntarily surrendered himself to the police.
This development unfolds after the Lagos State Police Command had put out an APB for Primeboy, placed N1million bounty on him due to his non-compliance with their summons.
Primeboy had been summoned by the police as part of the ongoing inquiry into the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s untimely demise. Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, issued a statement affirming this turn of events.
However, new videos of Primeboy strolling into the precincts of the Lagos police command, accompanied by his legal counsel and the media in tow, made waves on social media, on Thursday, October 5, 2023.

Benjamin Hundeyin, the face of the Lagos police, declared in a statement on Thursday, October 5th, that Primeboy was promptly apprehended for questioning and all requisite procedures.
The Lagos State Police Command offered a solemn pledge to the family, buddies, and admirers of Ilerioluwa Aloba Promise, widely recognized as Mohbad, as well as the broader public, assuring them that they would leave no stone unturned in conducting a meticulous investigation.
Following his being declared wanted, Owodunni Ibrahim Oluwatosin aka Primeboy has turned himself in. He has, immediately, been taken into custody for interrogation and other necessary actions.

Meanwhile, a Lagos State Magistrates’ Court in Yaba, on Wednesday, granted the police an order to detain controversial musician, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, in their custody for 21 days.
The late Mohbad was formally signed to Naira Marley’s Malian record label but they fell out. The deceased had alleged intimidation by Naira Marley and his associates.
The court also ordered the police to remand for 21 days a Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, also known as Sam Larry; a nurse alleged to have injected the late singer, Fisayo Ogedengbe, and another fellow, Sadiq Ayobami, who claimed to be the late singer’s friend.
