Yets amidst this array of elements, the police have zeroed in on two key factors, firmly stating that Mohbad's passing can be attributed to the injuries he sustained during his clash with Prime Boy.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, has revealed that the tragic demise of the singer known as Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, alias Mohbad, stemmed from injuries sustained during a brawl with his childhood friend, Ibrahim Owodunni, also known as Primeboy, in Ikorodu.

In an address to the media during a press conference on Friday, CP Owohunwa disclosed that MohBad and PrimeBoy engaged in a heated altercation following a music performance by the ‘Peace’ crooner at a show in Ikorodu.

Owohunwa also highlighted that the injuries MohBad suffered during the altercation were not properly managed, ultimately culminating in his tragic demise.

The CP stated;

Primeboy attended the show at Ikorodu in Mohbad’s company on 10th September 2023. At the end of the show, Mohbad and Ibrahim were engaged in a violent fight, during which Mohbad was injured. The management of the injury subsequently resulted in his death. So he is being treated as a suspect.”
