The court has issued a production warrant for Naira Marley, according to a statement from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC)
The circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s death have taken a dramatic turn, and the public’s interest in the story is maintained.
Within Nigeria recently revealed the startling discovery that the police had named a key suspect in this mysterious case.
This central character also happens to be an assistant nurse who is accused of giving Mohbad many injections just hours before his terrible death.
Keep in mind that the police had already been making assumptions about one Prime Boy.
Prime Boy, a close friend of Mohbad, was two days earlier listed as a wanted man since he was the last person to be seen with Mohbad before his tragic passing. But yesterday, Primeboy freely surrendered to the police.
Sam Larry and Naira Marley were the initial prime suspects, but over the past few days, new information has eclipsed them.
Furthermore, the authorities have indicated that while Naira Marley may not have had a direct hand in Mohbad’s murder, it has come to light that he had bullied and threatened him while he was alive.
Recently, Naira Marley has recently returned to the spotlight thanks to a new development. Naira Marley is currently being charged with 11 counts of internet fraud.
The case was however adjourned because Naira Marley couldn’t show up due to his ongoing issue with the police regarding the death of Mohbad

“Justice Nicholas Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, on Friday, October 5, 2023, issued a production warrant against Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, also known as Naira Marley.
Naira Marley is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,
EFCC, on 11-count charges bordering on conspiracy and credit card fraud.
At the resumed sitting on Friday, counsel to the defendant, Olalekan Ojo, SAN informed the court that the defendant was unavoidably absent from court owing to his being detained by the Police for interrogation in respect of the murder of llerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, also known as Mohbad.
Ojo, therefore, prayed the court for an adiournment of the trial.”
