Show promoter demands a refund from Zinoleesky over canceled US concert caused by Mohbad’s passing – VIDEO

The shocking videos of Mohbad getting roughed up by Marlians' crew have ruffled many feathers in Nigeria, leading to a nationwide cancel culture frenzy. Even Zinoleesky, who's part of the same label, got caught in the crossfire, and show promoters in the US had to pull the plug on his concert. Now, the promoter is singing the blues and demanding a refund from Zinoleesky, facing a hefty financial punch in the gut.

The CEO of Faithia Entertainment Showbiz, a U.S. showbiz mogul, has put the heat on Zinoleesky, Marlian Records artist, over his reluctance to cough up the cash that was wired into his account for a show that bit the dust.

Recall that in September 2023, two United States show promoters, Faithia Entertainment Showbiz and Vibesland Entertainment, cancelled the upcoming separate tours of Marlian Music signee Zinoleesky.

This came after the death of Nigerian singer Mohbad and the allegation that his former record label boss, Naira Marley, and his associate, Sam Larry, were responsible for it.

Faitha Entertainment took to Instagram to announce that Zinoleesky’s tour has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances; a new date will be communicated.

In a recent chat with Samklef, the show promoter spilled the beans about the aftermath of the canceled U.S. concert and the financial hit he took.

Ever since the show’s letdown, Faitha admitted he’s been feeling out of sorts, with business partners breathing down his neck, demanding their money.

The show promoter revealed that his initial attempts to get in touch with Zinoleesky’s manager, Gabyarow, to discuss refunds were as fruitless as talking to a brick wall because she refused to pick up his calls.

He went on to explain that before the concert’s cancellation, Zinoleesky and his manager had gone off the rails by jetting off to Puerto Rico with a visa meant for his U.S. concert trip, essentially breaching their contract.

When he finally managed to contact Zinoleesky’s manager, she delivered a hard “no” on refunds, proposing to postpone the U.S. show until the heat around Mohbad’s situation cooled off.

But the resolute U.S. show promoter stood his ground, insisting on refunds. He argued that Zinoleesky and other Marlian artists had been blacklisted by fans and Nigerians due to their alleged involvement in the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s tragic demise.
