Olamide no longer replies to my messages, Wizkid, Davido yet to fulfil their promised songs – Portable rants

WizKid, Davido, and, most notably, Olamide showered Portable with tremendous support when he rose to fame. The Zazuu Crooner, while praising his self-reliance and hard work that shaped him into the artist he is today, asserted that YBNL Boss, his once-reliable "helper," has now gone silent, with no replies to his messages. He also lamented that Big Wiz and OBO had pledged song collaborations, but to this day, nothing has come to fruition as promised.

In airing his grievances against his protege, Young Duu, Portable, whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola, spilled the beans on his uphill journey to maintain his relevance after a single shot at stardom.

The Singer recounted how Olamide catapulted him into the spotlight but emphasized that he’s been steering his own ship ever since, without constantly resorting to seeking assistance.

Portable also underscored that he had to pave his own way when no one else would, lamenting that he never received the kind of handouts that Young Duu enjoyed, including a car.

To add salt to the wound, Portable disclosed that after Olamide featured on one of his tracks, he reached out for a remix, only to be met with radio silence, no response from him.

Portable said;

Since Olamide helped me, have you seen me going to beg Olamide? If I want to message Olamide, I do so without stressing him because he’s my helper, and I don’t want him to dislike me. If you pester your helper, they’ll dislike you.”

“Not every day I beg Olamide (Baddo). I don’t beg for food money. He didn’t buy me a car; I bought it myself.”

How many celebrities have posted me on their pages? Am I not the one promoting myself? I messaged Olamide to help me with a remix, but he didn’t help me again.”

Portable dropped another bombshell, revealing that both Davido and Wizkid had given him their word on contributing verses to his songs, but he was left hanging in the wind, never got any feedback from them.

His words;

“Davido promised to do a song with me, but I didn’t see him. Wizkid promised me, and I didn’t see anything.”
