Verydarkman accuses Nollywood stars of neglecting ailing colleague, Mr Ibu – VIDEO

Video of Mr. Ibu, a man who's been a wellspring of joy and laughter for countless, lying in a hospital bed, beseeching for assistance while grappling with the agony and the haunting fear of losing his legs, was truly a gut-wrenching sight. Verydarkman, equally anguished by the veteran actor's current state of health, didn't hold back in giving his colleagues a piece of his mind over their alleged abandonment. He emphasized the importance of caring for and treasuring the seasoned veterans in the industry.

The cyber crusader, Martins Vincent Otse, who goes by the moniker VeryDarkMan, has put his two cents on the table regarding Nollywood stalwart Mr. Ibu’s plea for a financial helping hand in the battle against health hurdles.

Mr Ibu, who has been known to have ups and downs in his health, is now bedridden at the hospital after his situation turned worse.

The seasoned Actor took to his official Instagram page to beg for assistance from well-meaning Nigerians as he faces amputation.

In a video spotted on his page, Verydarkman didn’t hold back; he unleashed a verbal torrent, deeming Mr. Ibu’s public plea for assistance a slap in the face of his fellow actors.

He made it clear that he’s absolutely flabbergasted by their alleged neglect, which has left Mr. Ibu with no choice but to broadcast his troubles on social media.

He left no room for excuses, firmly stating that there’s simply no valid justification for not rallying around Mr. Ibu. He made it crystal clear that arguments like Mr. Ibu being a well-paid actor hold no water, especially when faced with the harsh reality of a health crisis that could happen to anyone.

Verydarkman underscored that the Nollywood industry should have evolved enough to have a structure and system in place that looks out for cinematic legends like Mr. Ibu, who have been instrumental in dishing out laughter and entertainment on the silver screen.

The TikToker served up some food for thought, suggesting that Nollywood’s bigwigs should stash some cash in the pension pot to provide for the industry’s old hands.

He staunchly argued that, heaven forbid, if something unfortunate were to befall Mr. Ibu, those silent colleagues who’ve been as tight-lipped as clams about his health challenges would suddenly be opening their wallets wide for a grand burial.

Verydarkman added by fervently calling on his followers to open their hearts and wallets, contributing whatever they can to help save the life of their seasoned comic entertainer.
