- Mr. Aloba really turned up the heat with his recent interview, making it crystal clear that a DNA test for his grandson Liam is a non-negotiable must-do.
- He was utterly baffled by the seemingly endless wait for his son Mohbad’s autopsy results but pledged to give an update soon on the details of the final burial
Joseph Aloba, the father of the Nigerian singer Mohbad who has sadly left us, spilled the beans in his chat with Stams TV, touching on a whole basket of issues pertaining to his late son.
In his tête-à-tête with Stams TV, the clergyman made it crystal clear that a DNA test for his grandson Liam is now an absolute must.
He firmly asserted that back in Ikere-Ekiti, his hometown, accepting bastards is nothing short of a major taboo.
Mr. Aloba also threw his cards on the table, stating that if the results come back negative, it would be a tough pill to swallow because that’s the only apple of his late son’s eye.
Mohbad’s father also scratched his head about the snail’s pace of the ongoing autopsy results, leaving him dangling in suspense like a cliffhanger.
He also chimed in on the ongoing autopsy, expressing his bafflement at the prolonged delay in the release of the autopsy, added that he would reach out to one of the senior police officers on the case to get more clarifications.
Here’s a transcription of the interview from Yoruba to English:
“This autopsy is taking time, I wasn’t aware it would take this long because Mohbad’s corpse shouldn’t be suffering. Concerning the DNA test, it’s a must they do it; Nigerians are demanding it.
“I heard rumours that they did it, but no matter what, I’m Mohbad’s father, so I’ll give consent to the DNA test or send anyone who can represent me during the test if I’m not there to know how they’ll do it.”
