Kate Henshaw fires back, tackles Mr Ibu’s wife over her claims of AGN neglecting ailing actor – VIDEO

The truth seems to be playing hide and seek in the ongoing verbal duel between Kate Henshaw and Mr. Ibu's wife, with accusations flying left and right. Initially, Kate, donning the AGN spokesperson hat, firmly asserted that the guild never deserted the ailing actor. In response, Mrs. Okafor cried foul, calling the statement a fib. Now, Kate has rekindled the fire, standing firm in her claim that the guild has been Mr. Ibu's support system.

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw, as the spokesperson for the Actors Guild of Nigeria, has fired back at Stella Maris, the wife of the seasoned actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, for her fiery accusations against the guild.

Last night, Kate Henshaw vehemently refuted claims of neglecting Mr. Ibu, who is grappling with a serious illness.

Kate made it abundantly clear that the guild has never left any of its members high and dry when they’re in dire straits, particularly in matters of health.

Reacting, in a video shared by the social media critic VeryDarkMan, Stella Maris pulled back the curtain, insisting that the Guild’s statement was just a cover-up, completely devoid of truth.

She laid it on the line, revealing that she hadn’t received a helping hand from the union before her husband’s health ordeal, and all attempts to get through to the Actors Guild ended up in a wild goose chase.

Firing back, Kate Henshaw called out Stella Maris for spreading what she viewed as falsehoods, firmly asserting that the Guild has had the actor’s back since 2021.

Kate pointed out that Stella Maris might be in dire straits, which could explain her statement, but labeling the Guild as unhelpful to her husband is far from the mark.

Her words;

Good morning my attention has been drawn to a video circulating on social media as of last night made by Mr Ibu’s wife.

Let me state here categorically that this would be the last statement I would make on this issue.

The crock of the matter is that someone is ill, asking for help and the focus is on him to get better.

As of 2022/2021, when issues arose concerning his health, I wasn’t the public relations officer for the Actors Guild. My ejection into this post was this year.

Let me state categorically and vehemently that AGN has been of help to Mr Ibu.

I do understand that she is at her wit’s end, anybody would be, but to say AGN lied isn’t true”.
