Why I made video about Wizkid’s N1.7b cars instead of interviewing him – Skitmaker Egungun replies critics

Egungun, renowned for grilling celebrities on the costs of their high-end clothing, bling, and wheels, took an unexpected turn by creating a video centered around Wizkid's jaw-dropping car collection, valued at a staggering N1.7 billion. However, this unconventional move stirred up a storm of criticism. Egungun has now spilled the beans on his initial attempt to secure a face-to-face interview with the artist, only to be met with a polite decline.

Nigeria’s famed Content creator, Kuye Adegoke, better known as the ‘Egungun of Lagos,’ has taken the heat head-on for his recent exposé on the high-end wheels in Wizkid’s collection.

Egungun, renowned for his no-holds-barred ‘tell-the-price’ interviews with celebrities, where they spill the beans on their lavish attire and wheels, found himself at the center of attention.

In a viral video shared by this social media influencer, the spotlight was on none other than the music sensation, Wizkid, as he made a grand entrance at a nightclub flanked by his ever-watchful security squad.

The influencer, with his characteristic flair, then laid bare the singer’s car collection.

Egungun pointed out the eye-watering value of the singer’s Rolls-Royce, pegging it at a cool ₦700 million. Not stopping there, he also brought into the limelight two more magnificent vehicles, one with a price tag of around ₦550 million and the other worth approximately ₦450 million.

Fans who caught a glimpse of the video couldn’t resist taking a playful jab at Egungun for not sticking to his signature interviewing style by getting up close and personal with WizKid to spill the beans on his car prices.

They playfully accused him of going “behind WizKid’s back” to let the cat out of the bag on those luxury wheels.

In response, Egungun explained that when he tried to have a heart-to-heart interview with Wizkid, the singer revealed his aversion to the camera, so, he sought Wizkid’s consent to showcase his impressive car collection.

He also expressed his surprise at the overwhelming surge of negative comments that came his way after releasing the revealing video.

Egungun wrote;

He actually told me he does not like camera and I respect my self , so I took permission for the cars, he no easy na motivation I need but Lagos people wan kill me with hate comment..I no steal anybody bread na hustle I Dey hustle”
