Chef Dammy’s Pastor slams her with N20m lawsuit for defamation of character

Netizens are left agog at the way a seemingly peaceful cook-a-thon organized by Chef Dammy and her pastor has erupted into an all-out battleground, complete with accusations, legal battles, and claims of menacing threats. The chef's cry for the world to hold her pastor accountable if any harm befalls her was met with a resounding retort in the form of a N20 million lawsuit by the said pastor. It's become a sizzling hotpot of controversy.

The ongoing showdown between Damilola Adeparusi, famously known as Chef Dammy, and her pastor, Adegoke Jeremiah, has escalated into a legal battlefield, adding more spice to the already simmering feud.

In her recent public statement, Chef Dammy alerted the general public that she believed her life was at risk, and she made it clear that her pastor should be held accountable if any harm befell her.

In an unexpected turn of events, Prophet Jeremiah Adegoke, the founder of Spirit World Global Mission, has initiated a legal action against Chef Dammy

Through a petition drafted by his legal team, the pastor conveyed his astonishment regarding what he deemed to be a defamatory remark made by the chef.

He’s called for a retraction of the slanderous statement and is also seeking a payment of twenty million naira (20,000,000) in damages, backed with a seven-day ultimatum.

Prior to this, Pastor Adegoke Jeremiah’s church member stepped into the ring, taking Chef Dammy to task for her accusations against their cleric.

In an emerging video, this unnamed church member didn’t hold back, calling out Dammy for spreading lies.

He threw down the gauntlet, challenging the Ekiti chef to bring forth concrete evidence to support her claims of life-threatening situations. The young man went as far as labeling Dammy a “clout chaser,” insinuating that she’s just trying to ride the wave of Pastor Jeremiah’s church name for attention.
