He's the maestro of this dark art, which explains the playful crowning of him as the 'King of Sacrifice' during his recent nightclub appearance. The crowd's ecstatic reaction illustrated an ironic affection for his wicked on-screen persona, proving that sometimes, it's the villains fans adore.


In the world of Nollywood, the veteran, Kanayo O Kanayo, who’s affectionately tagged as the ‘King of Sacrifice’ by many, has wholeheartedly embraced this title, and a viral video capturing this moment is currently circulating far and wide.

Kanayo, also known as “Nnayi Sacrifice,” has truly struck a chord with his fans through his exceptional and frequent portrayals of various ritual roles in movies.

The Thespian, decked out in vibrant red attire, graced a Halloween-themed evvent at the Secret Palace nightclub in Lekki, Lagos. During the event, he was summoned to the stage.

A regal crown was placed atop his head, he was handed a ceremonial staff, and a lady proudly displayed a Luminescent board bearing the bold inscription ‘King of Sacrifice’ as he playfully ascended to his royal role on the stage.

Amidst the enthusiastic applause of the nightclub crowd, he regaled them with an entertaining speech, weaving humor into his acceptance of the ‘King of Sacrifice’ mantle.

This is coming few days after Kanayo went online to share his thoughts on speculations surrounding colleague, Mr Ibu’s health.

In a very heated video, the movie star condemned Reno Omokri, VeryDarkMan and others who were using Mr Ibu’s case to castigate others.

According to him, there is nothing wrong with the actor’s family crying out for help online.

KOK noted that those who have would help him, and it should not be a reason to attack those who have not. KOK also warned against using Mr Ibu’s name to trend.
