Controversial Twitter personality Daniel Regha has sparked a heated controversy by heavily criticizing reality star Ilebaye’s outfit choice for Davido’s Martell party.
Ilebaye’s fashion selection had already garnered significant attention, with opinions ranging from praise to outright disapproval.
Daniel Regha, known for his outspoken and controversial views on Twitter, stood out as one of the most vocal critics, not holding back on his opinions.
He expressed his disapproval of Ilebaye’s outfit and went so far as to say that if she couldn’t find a better outfit, she should have simply stayed at home.
In his blunt critique, he described her outfit as “absolutely disgusting.”
However, Regha did not stop at critiquing Ilebaye’s fashion choices. He expanded his criticism to the entirety of the BBNaija reality show, arguing that the show is contributing to the promotion of role models with questionable moral principles.
He continued to dissect and denounce the program, suggesting it was part of the problem.
He suggested that perhaps the blame should not be entirely placed on Ilebaye, pointing out that Nigerians were her initial supporters.
He wrote;
“Ilebaye should’ve stayed at home if she had no better/decent outfit for the Martell Party; her dress was absolutely disgusting. Again, this is the type of role models BBN is producing & promoting, someone with low moral values; But it’s not her fault tho, Nigerians championed her.”
