Music producer, Samuel Oguachuba aka Samklef has come under serious attack from netizens for mocking award-winning singer, Davido on his latest achievement.
Davido recently bagged a total of three nominations in the 66th Grammys.
The OBO crooner’s fourth studio album, ‘Timeless’ was nominated in the Best Global Music Album category while ‘Unavailable’ and ‘Feel’ were nominated in the Best African Music Performance and Best Global Music Performance categories, respectively.
Celebrating his achievement, the elated singer wrote via his X handle, “3 nominations at the Grammys! Delay is not denial!”
Reacting to the news of Davido’s reaction to his win, Samklef mocked him in ironic terms.
The music producer took to his X platform to state that the Grammy nominee had to fast, pray and work hard for 40 days and night. Tagging a post mocking Davido, Samklef added that Davido had to climb different mountains to be nominated. In his words:
“After 40 days fasting and prayer with hard work davido don finally get 3 nominations for Grammy.”
“Nigerians should let my davido enjoy his wins o!
Una know how many mountain davido climb? Let davido breath, 3 nomination a beans?.”
These statements have made fans of the singer bash Samklef for his posts. They have tagged him as a bitter and jealous individual.

Davido came hard on Samklef for sharing a video of him, his partner, Chioma and their twins.
Recall that over the week, reports about Davido and Chioma welcoming a set of twins made rounds online. Davido on his part maintained silence as regards the issue, leaving netizens wondering whether it’s true or not.
