American-Nigerian singer Jidenna has boldly acknowledged a dark aspect of his past, he confessed to having robbed off many women of their baby-making years.
The artist shed light on a chapter of his life where he prioritized personal ambitions and his own selfish interest over creating a family.
Jidenna acknowledged manipulating other women in the past during her speech on the inaugural edition of the podcast, ‘What’s Underneath Masculinity‘
Jidenna stated that those ladies built him, despite the fact that he treated them unfairly.
He said:
“I robbed some women of their baby-making years. Dragging them along, they built me up. Look at me now and look at them.
“If you were a creative, I folded you into my artwork. If you were in my artwork, I gave you a job. I mastered your life. I gave a house, food, everything you need. I protected and provided for you. I did what men are supposed to do.
“I remember different quotes I said like just like really manipulated things to say like, ‘No one is going to love you the way I do.’ Oh my God! I’m ashamed of it.”
He expressed his guilt for what he had done and emphasized how painful it makes him to witness men controlling women in the same way that he did.
” The next relationship that I would get in, I will work as hard at love as I worked in my career” he added.
In another news, 18 year old Singer, Khaid opens up on the kind of women he likes, stated that “He is attracted to older women”.
The 18-year-old singer revealed this while participating in the most recent episode of Kamsi’s podcast On The Kouch.
Khaid said:
“All my life, I just tend to have things with women that are older than me. I don’t think I have ever had something with someone that is younger than me. I also haven’t been involved with my agemates. It’s either women who are older than me by months or something.”
