Charles Inojie opens up on his grass to grace story following abandonment from his parents at a tender age


Life has a way of dealing with people in unimaginable ways. While some find it so smooth and can barely relate to difficulties, others have it so bad that people term it as miracles they were able to survive such tough conditions.

Speaking on his grass to grace story with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Charles Inojie opened up on some difficult times he had while growing up, before becoming a renowned actor cum movie director.

Inojie is no doubt one of Nollywood’s greats – as an actor, a director and comic. However, he wasn’t born with a silver spoon but emerged from a broken home.

Speaking about how it all started, Charles Inojie revealed his parents’ marriage crashed and then his mother left when he was only 1.

At such a tender age, his father remarried and that was the beginning of another bout of trouble for him.

According to the Thespian, his stepmother made life miserable for him while his father watched. He said there was a time when his stepmother gave his father an ultimatum: to choose between her and his son.

Charles Inojie said in such situation, no man will chose his son and neither did his father.

He revealed that he only lived with his father for 8months and added that when he gained admission at 20years old, his stepmother asked him to wait for her child to grow up so they will attend university together. He added that that meant he would have to wait for another 20 years or so.

Charles Inojie also divulged that he met his mother years after but it wasn’t emotional for him because he had already faced a lot. Watch him speak below:

WITHIN NIGERIA earlier reported that Charles Inojie shared how he narrowly escaped the clutches of death in May.

The actor who is popular for his comic roles in movies shared a video on Instagram when explaining what took place at the scene.

According to Charles Inojie, he was seating down outdoors, under a tent and about three minutes after he got up from his seat the water tank which was on a pole came crashing down and broke thereby spilling its contents.

Charles Inojie who could be heard appreciating God for the narrow escape was particularly shocked because the water tank fell directly on his seat and if he was still there, the chances of survival would have been slim to none.
