Carter Efe claps back at Portable's claims amidst royalty dispute


CEO of EH Records, Carter Efe, has responded vehemently to controversial singer Portable’s allegations of stealing and ripping off his ex-signee, Young Duu.

The dispute arose after Carter Efe and Young Duu collaborated on the hit single “Oyinmo,” prompting Portable to assert ownership over the artist and demand royalties from the song.

Carter Efe, known as a record label boss and also a singer, did not mince words as he fired back at Portable, criticizing the singer’s musical prowess and accusing him of hindering the progress of Young Duu.

The EH Records CEO went on to express his frustration with Portable’s behavior, insinuating that the singer was motivated by jealousy and animosity towards the success of his ex-signee, Young Duu.

In Carter Efe’s words;

“Since when Portable dey do song, e don do song with better producer? No be only that Zazu zeh wy he do that time wey be like say e scatter everywhere? Since then, e no get better song again.

“E no wan make the boy shine; with your smelling habit come dey follow me dey talk. E dey post news say I be ripper; for your presence, Young Duu go buy mote take jam you. Portable no wise. Even the Zazuu song, an only Olamide give am stream,” he stated angrily

In relates story, Controversial singer, Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable Omolalomi has raged mightily following the release of his ex-signee, Young Duu’s new song, titled ‘Oyinmo’.

Young Duu was under Zeh Nation (a record label owned by Portable) before they fell out with each other.

Carter Efe on his part, picked up Young Duu, brushed him up and supported him both financially and otherwise, which eventually enabled the upcoming singer to release the highly anticipated jam.
