Nigerian film actress, Wumi Toriola has admitted that she doesn’t mind being a second wife. The thespian who said she has been single for “a while now”, said her mindset about being a second or third wife has changed.

Wumi Toriola said the simple reason behind the change is that she is now a single mother of one.

The movie star who said her happiness is all that matters, revealed that she doesn’t even mind settling down with a single father or widower. In her words:

“I used to have the mindset that I can’t be a second or third wife but that has changed because I’m after-one now.

“If I see an after-one like me too or a widower, I will marry him. What matters is my happiness.”

She said most men don’t approach female celebrities because they think they are open to only rich men but it’s not so with all of them.

Toriola added that most actresses work for their money, contrary to popular opinion that rich men are behind their luxurious lifestyles.

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Wumi Toriola got married in 2018 and welcomed her first child, Zion, the next year.

In January 2023, after rumours about her relationship went viral, she announced via her Instagram page that her marriage of four years had crashed.

The thespian revealed that her marriage had crashed for over a year, and she didn’t see the need to air it out on social media because there was no need for the drama.
