- Layi Wasabi has opened up to his fans about how he came about his famous yet funny lawyer character in his skits.
- The skit-maker shockingly revealed that he studied law in school hence the smooth ride with his character.
- He added that seeing lawyers around where he served helped him build the character.
Nigerian skit maker, Isaac Ayomide Olayiwola aka Layi Wasabi, has won a good number of fans with his unique online content.
Layi Wasabi, known to act as a lawyer (amongst many other characters) and play with words in many of his skits in an interview with Cool FM, shared how he came about the character.
The funny man revealed he studied law in school and did his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the Ministry of Justice in Ibadan, Oyo state. He added that his internship in Osogbo, Osun state, brought him closer to the court premises. He said in part:
“There were a lot of lawyers hanging around the court premises. My comedic material was from observation and I assumed what their day to day life look like”.
