Nigerian actor Hanks Anuku, amidst a viral video sparking concerns about his mental well-being, has appealed to Delta State governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the public for assistance.

Caught in conversation with a man admiring a passing young lady, Hanks Anuku’s dialogue unfolded in a disjointed manner, leaving fans concerned.

The video triggered a social media storm as numerous Nigerians swarmed Instagram to express their reactions, raising poignant questions about the actor’s cognitive fitness.

Hanks Anuku, on Thursday, shared a video where he earnestly appealed to the governor and fellow Nigerians for financial support.

Opening up about his efforts to maintain his status as an entertainer, Hanks expressed the importance of letting everyone know the challenges he is currently facing.

He wrote: “I thank u all fans n my guvnor sheriff. I have tried my best to uphold my status as an entertainer, so it’s good to let u all know what I’m going through

Concerns about the actor’s mental health initially surfaced last year when a viral video depicted Hanks Anuku appearing disheveled on the streets.

The footage sparked diverse reactions on social media, with some speculating about his mental well-being, while others asserted it was a scene from a movie. However in response to the video, Hanks accused the rumor mongers of attempting to tarnish his image.

Hanks Anuku, however, claimed he had been on set and the pictures and videos were being used to tarnish his reputation.
