Nigerian actress, Sonia Ogiri has slammed celebrities for always staying silent when things are on the verge of getting bad in the country.

Ogiri was reacting to the country’s economic situation that many have been complaining about and keeps declining by the day.

She wondered why celebrities do not speak up when things were just getting bad before it finally gets out of hand.

The thespian admonished them not to deceive poor Nigerians into thinking they are also suffering. She added that things are very bad for the common Nigerian.

She said:

 “I laugh in Swahili. Why are some celebrities speaking up now about the hike in foodstuff? Una dey whine una sef or just complaining so ordinary Nigeria go think. Say you dey feel wetin them dey feel? Why do some Nigerian celebrities keep mute when they’re supposed to speak up at the right time before things become b*d? Why medicine after death? Stop deceiving the poor Nigerians with the narrative of your also suffering hardship.

Things are so hard in Nigeria for common Nigerians”.

In other news, Nigerian actress, Lizzy Anjorin has fired back at Iyabo Ojo, daring her to wear her trademark black bonnet and rant because she has nothing to achieve by calling her name.

Recall Iyabo Ojo had dared Liz to mention her name, following previous call out videos indirectly directed at her.

Responding to Iyabo’s accusations that she owes her for a movie, Lizzy claimed the former didn’t look good in the said movie, which is why she didn’t get paid for the role of a prostitute that she played.
