Mohbad’s brother, Adura, testifies in court; mentions prime suspect in singer’s demise

In the aftermath of Mohbad's passing, Nigeria witnessed a verbal showdown among the late singer's wife, dad, mum, and other family members, all trading accusations like a verbal boxing match. However, a crucial family figure, Mohbad's brother, had been tight-lipped until his recent court appearance today. In this legal arena, he finally spilled the beans, pointing fingers at the prime suspect he deems responsible for his brother's demise.

The legal drama surrounding Ilerioulwa Imole Aloba, aka Mohbad, took a new twist in court thanks to revelations from his younger brother, Adura Aloba.

Under scrutiny on Wednesday, November 22, the young guy spilled the beans on the central figure linked to his brother’s death.

After a barrage of questions, Adura identified Ibrahim Owodunni, aka Prime Boy, the late singer’s childhood friend, as the primary suspect in the case.

Recall that Prime Boy turned himself in after the police declared him wanted over the fight he had with Mohbad before his death.

The court has summoned Primeboy for questioning on December 6.

Meanwhile, a video of the late Ilerioluwa Aloba’s mother, Mrs Olumiyi, spilling details of how the late singer’s father, Joseph Aloba, was delaying his reburial arrangements has gone viral on social media.

Mohbad’s mother, who spoke in the Yoruba language, revealed the police, after conducting an autopsy, released the body of the singer.

She, however, stressed that Mohbad’s father persisted in keeping the body with the police.

The singer’s mother, who was close to tears, recounted how she appealed to Mohbad’s dad to let him be buried, but he refused.

Mohbad’s mum revealed she had tried her best as she appealed to Nigerian and the late singer’s colleagues to come to help her persuade Mohbad’s father.

WITHIN NIGERIA recall reporting that Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, reacted to calls for his son’s corpse to be returned for burial.

He stated Mohbad was still his son even in death, and anything that would be done to his body should be with his authorisation.

This was after Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh slammed the singer’s father.
