Pray for me – Rapper Oladips addresses fans after faking his death (VIDEO)

Oladips, a budding rapper, seemingly envious of the attention and success his late peer Mohbad received, as the Imole crooner's album gained traction, opted to stage his own demise in hopes of riding the wave of sympathy and boosting his music sales. However, the scheme backfired, and now he's out in the open, urging his fans to pray for him, assuring them that he would spill the reasons behind this daring and costly stunt.

Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji aka Oladips, the well-known Nigerian rapper, has reached out to his fans and fellow countrymen, guaranteeing to open up about his experiences when he’s back in the pink of health.

News of the musician’s demise left many Nigerians in disbelief, with videos suggesting the prolonged health challenges he asserted to be grappling with. However, a few days later, there were speculations circulating that the rap sensation staged his own demise as a strategic move to amplify the success of his recently launched album.

He remained silent on the allegations until today, November 23, when he posted a video on his Instagram story accompanied by the caption “proof of life.”

Shortly afterward, he went live on Instagram, reassuring his followers that he would share his side of the story once he regained strength. In the video, Oladips, visibly distressed and unwell, requested his supporters to keep him in their prayers.
