- Blessing CEO had earlier stated that most Benin moms uses their female children to make money by making them sell their bodies
- She stated that most of Benin’s mature women are employed as prostitutes’ overseas.
- In reply, Kemi Olunloyo agreed with Blessing CEO, she recalls her observation when she was in Canada
Ngerian investigative journalist and social critic, Kemi Olunloyo, has come to the defense of Blessing CEO, a popular Nigerian social media personality, over a statement she made regarding Edo women.
Blessing CEO attracted significant backlash after claiming that Edo women are commonly associated with prostitution.
However, Kemi Olunloyo has publicly supported Blessing CEO’s statement, arguing that she was speaking from a place of truth and observation.
Kemi Olunloyo agreed and revealed that, while living in Canada, she learned in 2007 that the majority of Edo girls are taken to Italy for prostitution, frequently with their families’ approval.
In her words:
“Blessing CEO was right about Edo girls though. I found out about this in 2007 in Canada that most are trafficked for prostitution in Italy and some mothers were well aware and supported it. The ones trafficked from Italy to Canada usually have small children and their goal is to get Canadian PR cards leading to citizenship. The Oba of Benin once cursed the traffickers blaming them. One lady came on Arise News last week to tell her ordeal where she was lied to, promised work, and turned into a sex slave. Many Nigerian females organized Prostitution rings in Ghana 🇬🇭 too. Please know what’s going on and remove the tribal sentiments and learn more about human trafficking at @officialnaptipnigeria”.
In another news, Kemi Olunloyo gives details on Chioma’s reported childbirth

She added that the babies (a boy and a girl) were born last night, Monday 9th October 2023.
Olunloyo further claimed that the babies weighed 5 pounds each and are very healthy. Additionally, she averred that the babies were born by cesarean section at 38 weeks and Chioma has been on bed rest for the past 90 days.
