Alexander Abolore Adegbola Akande, popularly known as 9ice has become a chief in Ogun state. The award-winning musician broke the exciting news on his Instagram page and shared a few photos.
He said he is now the “Amuludun of Ijofin Kingdom” which means the “Chief Entertainer of Ijofin Kingdom”.
9ice thanked the king of Ijofin Kingdom for honoring him with a chieftaincy title and also pledged to continue supporting Nigeria. His words:
“AARE AMULUDUN IJOFIN KINGDOM IPOKIA YEWA. THANKS TO HRM OBA MORUF AWODE AND THE ENTIRE FAMILY OF GUSANU AND THE PEOPLE OF IJOFIN KINGDOM, YEWA OGUN STATE AND EVERYONE.”

Taking to her social media page, Tiwa described the recent visit from the popular musician as unforgettable.
Dubbed ‘Afrobeats queen’ by many, Tiwa Savage shared the footage on her Instagram page where she is seen energetically dancing to 9ice’s hit track, ‘No be mistake’ off his ‘Tradition’ album.
Interestingly, she also sampled a line from 9ice’s ‘No Be Mistake’ in her recently released song ‘Pick up’.
She is seen positioned at the entrance of the elevator, dancing enthusiastically as she awaited the arrival of her legendary guest.
When the door eventually slid open and 9ice stepped in, Tiwa jumped with utmost joy with her guest pleasantly taken aback. The duo proceeded to hug each other amid smiles. She appreciated the ‘Gongo Aso’ crooner for his visit, tagging him as a legend and boss. 9ice went on to share the same video with Tiwa Savage on his Instagram page as well.
