Nigerian filmmaker, movie actor and director, Kunle Afolayan has released photos of skit makers Layi Wasabi and Sisi Quadri with Nollywood actress Biola Fowosire on the set of his four-part series Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre.
The pictures were shared via his Instagram account on Tuesday, with a question for his one million followers.
Kunle Afolayan wanted to know how his fans would react if they woke up and found the trio (known for their comic roles) on their doorstep. 
Kunle Afolayan captioned the photos:
“You woke up in the morning and found these three at your doorstep! What will you do @layiwasabi @iamsisiquadir @ewatomilolaasake.”
Kunle unveiled Layi Wasabi and Sisi Quadri as casts of the series through an Instagram post he made on Tuesday with featured scenes shot during production. The movie maker tagged their Instagram accounts in the caption.
Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre is a sequel to the movie Anikulapo released in 2022.
The series will feature popular actors like Sola Sowobale, Kunle Remi, Bimbo Ademoye, Owobo Ogunde, Gabriel Afolayan, Lateef Adedimeji, Eyiyemi Afolayan, Uzee Usman, Oyinda Sanni and Taiwo Hassan, some of who were in the 2022 movie itself.
Distributed by Netflix, Anikulapo the movie has an IMDB rating of 5.5.
It got 16 nominations at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCAs) and won five of them including the category of Best Overall Movie in Africa.
