Actress Regina Daniels has narrated her first ever flight scare and near death experience during a trip to Asaba, Delta State.
The mother of two and her politician husband, Ned Nwoko were invited by the Delta State governor, Sheriff Oborevwori and wife, Tobore Oborevwori to the funeral ceremony and thanksgiving service of Mama Agnes Avwenyotoma, mother of the governor’s wife.
Speaking about the trip in a now deleted Instagram post on Tuesday, Regina said death looked her in the face for the second time this year and it felt like her heart was going to explode. She wrote:
“Being an original is such a big flex. On this trip, I had my first ever flight scare/panic attack. For the second time this year, death looked me in the face. My heart and the plane were at the same frequency like they were going to explode.”
Regina added that while she was having the panic attack, her two children kept running through her mind. She also expressed gratitude to God for making it out alive. She added:
“All that kept running through my mind were my little boys.”
The actress, however, did not talk about her first near death experience before deleting the post.
Regina also posted photos from her trip on her Instagram account and shared a video from the burial ceremony she attended with her husband. Regina Daniels captioned the video:
“We honored the invitation of the executive governor and First Lady of delta state to celebrate the life of the mother of the first lady. Late Mama Agnes Avwenyotoma tager. Then we proceeded to church for a thanksgiving ceremony.”
The 23-year-old and her husband welcomed their son Munir on July 29, 2020.
