Pasuma and Portable were invited by a Lagos church to its praise night


A Lagos State branch of the Celestial Church of Christ has faced criticism for including Fuji singer Pasuma and street-hop artist Portable in the list of performers at its praise night.

The church shared the event flyer on its Facebook page, announcing the celebration of its 7th-year anniversary with an Ankara/Praise Night on December 15, 2023.

The inclusion of secular artists like Pasuma and Portable stirred controversy among netizens, who expressed their disapproval in the comment section.

Critics questioned the compatibility of inviting secular artistes to perform at a church event.

Sharing the poster of the event, the church wrote:
