Thanking their ‘shippers’ (those clamoring for the duo to have a romantic relationship), Pere admitted that he appreciates their efforts.

He added that he would like to clearly state that he is not dating Mercy Eke.

Pere pleaded with his fans to stop linking them together. He wrote:
