“Are you people curs3d with sadn3ss?” Doyin slams Nigerians trolling her

Doyin vents over public perception of her and constant negative attitudes of Nigerians towards everything she does.

Reality TV star, Doyin David recently had a fiery response to the relentless trolling she has been facing.

This comes after she showed support for the winner of the competition, Ilebaye, with a gesture that sparked a wave of critical responses.

Amidst the hatred she was facing, Doyin had sent Ilebaye a message of fortitude and perseverance.

However, some online users attacked Doyin for being unduly ingratiating after Ilebaye posted this statement.

Doyin no longer remained silent as she addressed the negativity surrounding her.

Doyin used Snapchat to share her opinions after receiving criticism. She questioned why people are usually skeptical of gestures of compassion and suspect that they are motivated by ulterior intentions. Doyin shared that she prefers to recognize and return compassion without overly considering its motivations, underscoring her conviction in the simplicity of kindness.

Doyin mentioned how annoying it is that people are always analyzing her behavior. Whenever she helps friends, encourages them, or just hangs out with them, she is charged with being phony, sycophantic, or desperate for attention. She asked boldly if Nigerians are naturally mean or if they have just never known genuine kindness.

She stated that even though she’s not perfect, she thinks she’s a better person than the people who are making fun of her personality. Many people’s upbringing was devoid of love, Doyin observed, and this may be the reason why they are not accustomed to kindness.

She drew attention to the dichotomy that exists in Nigeria, a nation renowned for its fervent religious beliefs, pointing out the pervasiveness of immorality despite extensive prayer. Doyin said that a lot of Nigerians would benefit from counseling to deal with their ingrained hurt and hatred—a discussion she feels the nation isn’t ready for.

To cap off her remarks, Doyin made a lighthearted suggestion to run for Nigerian president, pledging to provide free therapy to everyone.
