Arrest VDM too – Netizens react to report on Mr Ibu’s son and Jasmine’s continual detention in police custody

Recent whispers of Mr. Ibu's wife arresting Jasmine and snagging her stepson sent shockwaves through Nigeria in a twist no one saw coming. Fans are baying for Verydarkman's blood, tearing him to shreds over his rumored involvement. Martins Vincent Otse, the Nigerian social media critic, widely known as Verydarkman, is under fire as online users clamor for his arrest.

This comes in the wake of fresh reports about the detention of Veteran actor Mr. Ibu’s adopted daughter and son in police custody.

Recall that actress Doris Ogala, on November 23, alleged that Mr Ibu’s wife Stella Maris arrested Jasmine and Ibu’s sons for taking N300m out of the money meant for his treatment. 

Jasmine and her associates are purportedly held at Alagbon station, Lagos, following allegations of fraud and embezzlement made by Mr. Ibu’s wife.

Prior to this, Verydarkman had consistently used his social media platform to support Jasmine and Mr. Ibu’s son against the accusations made by the wife, when she called them out for alleged embezzlement of donated funds

Blogger Tosin Silverdam, in a recent video on Thursday, November 30, confirmed the authenticity of the news about Mr. Ibu’s wife arresting Jasmine and others.

He emphasized that they are currently in police custody, adding that the police reportedly recovered a substantial amount of money after alleged lavish spending on personal needs.

Tosin’s revelation left fans in disbelief, prompting criticism towards Verydarkman for siding with Jasmine against Mr. Ibu’s wife. Some fans even called for Verydarkman’s arrest, accusing him of allegedly conspiring with them to mislead the public.
