Rapper Oladips slams Colleague Qdot for hastily declaring he is alive following death announcement

A few weeks ago, Oladips, to the dismay of Nigerians, was declared deceased by his management, shattering hearts across the nation. However, his comrade, Qdot, swiftly debunked the death announcement, affirmed Oladips is alive. As the truth emerged, accusations arose, with many condemning Oladips for using a "death hoax" as a marketing ploy for his new album. Dismissing these claims, Oladips pointed fingers at Qdot, holding him responsible for the current wave of criticism and stating that Qdot "threw him under the bus" in the eyes of the public.

Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Oladimeji, known as Oladips, has clarified that he did not feign his demise, in contrast to widespread reports suggesting he engineered a death ruse to generate publicity for his latest album, ‘Superhero Adugbo’.

Contrary to the somber declaration made by his management on November 15, 2023, via his Instagram page, stated that the rapper met his demise on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, a twist unfolded.

Rapper Qdot and Oladips’ other associates took to social media, painted a different canvas of reality, asserted that Oladips was indeed alive and kicking.

Oladips also shared a compelling video confirming his well-being, sparked speculations that he staged his demise to generate buzz for his upcoming project.

In response to the rumors on his Instagram story, the rapper blamed Qdot for the allegations that he faked his death, saying he rushed to announce on social media that he was alive  “at a time my family was unsure of my situation.”

Expressing his frustration, the rapper lamented that Qdot created a false impression of a conversation between them, clarifying that they hadn’t spoken throughout this year.

Oladips wrote, “I know there is cruise. There is clout. And then there is truth!

“Qdot, the reason why you posted ‘My gee is alive’ at a time my family was unsure of my situation is so appalling and uncalled for. I dey where I dey struggle with my life, you dey post ‘My gee is alive.’ Unnecessarily misleading everyone. Made it look like me and you just had a conversation.

“Bro, I went through it and anything could have happened. The last me and you had any conversation was January 2, 2022. I get proof and I will soon tell the story in full! Cos why una dey always do like this for this industry tori olorun?”
